Men's soccer: Capital 2, ONU 1
The Ohio Northern men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to OAC-foe Capital on a rainy Saturday evening at Kerscher Stadium.
The Polar Bears fall to 8-4-1 overall and 1-2-0 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while the Crusaders improve to 8-4-0, 2-1-0.
Northern returns to action on Wednesday evening as it welcomes Heidelberg at home for a 7 pm kickoff.
Women's soccer wins 8th straight
Sophomore Rose Nienaber (Cincinnati/Oak Hills) led the No. 17-ranked Ohio Northern women's soccer team to its eighth consecutive victory on Saturday afternoon, as the Polar Bears defeated Capital 1-0 in Bexley.
The Polar Bears improve to 10-1-1 overall and become the only Ohio Athletic Conference school with an undefeated conference record at 3-0-0.
The Crusaders fall to 4-6-1, 2-1-0.
