Anna Krummrey, age 92 passed away Monday, June 5, 2017 at 1:15 a.m. at Lima Memorial Health System, Lima, Ohio. She was born on May 22, 1925 in Salyersville, Kentucky to Edward and Josephine (Haney) Gullett who preceded her in death. On December 18, 1942 Anna married Arthur Alfred Krummrey at the Church of Christ parsonage in Greenup, Kentucky.
She celebrated 72 years of marriage with the love of her life, Arthur Alfred Krummrey, who passed away February 21, 2015. She often would say, "I wished we could have grown old together".
Elizabeth was an active member of Quickstep Pentecostal Church of God and a charter member of Solid Rock Pentecostal Church of God. She leaves a legacy of her unending faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. She was well known as a prayer warrior.
Elizabeth took great pride in her home and family. She raised her children with the philosophy "Because I said so." Besides being a homemaker, she was an obstetrical licensed practical nurse and retired from Hardin Memorial Hospital. She also enjoyed quilting and flower and vegetable gardening.
Survivors include: Carol Ousley of Elida, Ohio, Linda (John) Tilton of Lima, Ohio Larry (Anita) Krummrey of Belle Center, Ohio, Anthony (Linda) Krummrey of Sidney, Ohio; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister in laws Jeanette Gullett, of Mansfield, Ohio and Bernita Latimore of McGuffey, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jeffrey Ousley; and five brothers: infant Calvin, Claude, Arthur "Junior", James"Pete", and Freeland Gullett; two sisters Gladys Barnett and Dora Back.
A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 8, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Rev. Robert Dye officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home in Ada, and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada.
