The Easter Bunny stopped in the Ada park on Sunday. The Ohio Northern University Kappa Alpha Theta, zeta sigma chapter, sponsored the visit.

Junior High Winterguard undefeated going into state competition

Ada Junior High School Winterguard in undefeated this season. The team performed at the OIPA competition at Firestone High School in Akron on Sunday, March 24. 

The team has now won its third first place trophy and continues a successful winning streak going into the state championship meet on April 6 in Wapakoneta. 

The Junior High team consists of Hailey Maier, Melina Woods, Caitlyn Stover, Maddie Preston, Lindsay Crouse, Callee Young, Ace Gamble, Allyson Fuqua and Josie Boehm.

Ada HS senior flag line brings home trophy

 

The Ada High School Senior Flag Line was very successful at its OIPA Winterguard competition held in Akron. The Flag Line took home a third place trophy with another wonderful performance by the newly formed team. The members of the flag line are Drayson Gamble, Allyssa Schlacter, Abbey Carl and Emily Carl.

Ada Varsity Singers finish season on a high note at Wapakoneta

 

The Ada High School Varsity Singers lead by Abigail Glenn, vocal music director, and Jonathan Lischak, director of Instrumental and co-director of the Varsity Singers finished their season on a high note. 

The Varsity Singers have performed their last three performances of the season. In January, the singers performed in Churubusco, Ind., and Erica Stoner was their outstanding performer. 

In early March, the show choir performed at Teas Valley and Erica Kier was their outstanding performer. 

ONU and Walmart establish endowed leadership scholarship

Ohio Northern University has established the Walmart and Sam’s Club Endowed Leadership Scholarship Fund for the Rudolph H. Raabe College of Pharmacy.

The scholarship will be awarded to academically eligible ONU pharmacy students entering their fourth, fifth or sixth year of pharmacy studies who have demonstrated leadership in pharmacy or to an ONU student organization and have shown interest in community pharmacy.
