Ada is a “festival of trees” this month.

The 16th annual Community Health Professionals “Ada Festival of Trees,” is now open to the public. The show runs from now through Nov. 22 at the CHP office, 1200 S. Main St., Ada. The show, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily offers free admission, lots of Christmas trees and other silent auction items.

Two events have already taken place. On Sunday was the appreciation festival for sponsors and volunteers. On Monday was a cookie bake-off including cookie judging with prizes awarded.

The Ada Music Boosters announce the return of another special Padrone's Dine-in fund-raising event, all day on Monday, Nov. 18. 

Padrone's of Ada will donate 20% of the day's sales (regular menu prices) to the Ada Music Boosters.

 

 

Santa Claus is coming to Richland Manor.

The community is invited to have photos taken with Santa at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 21. The free community event includes Christmas treats, photos taken with Santa and persons may drop off letters to Santa.

Richland Manor is a 7400 Swaney Road, Bluffton.

A line of strong late season thunderstorms with possible tornadoes and winds gusting to 70 miles per hour moved across Ohio late Sunday breaking poles and knocking down power lines in several areas of AEP Ohio’s service territory. The severe weather has effected service for both transmission and distribution customers.
