Tickets on sale for Sept. 28 Awaken Fest'

Tickets are now on sale for the Saturday, Sept. 28, Awaken Fest’ to be held in at the Hancock County Fairgrounds, 1017 E. Sandusky St., Findlay.

Awaken Festival is an event filled with the biggest names in Christian music, merchandise booths, food vendors and family friendly activities.

The Fest’ enlists the help of over 100 volunteers, secure in-kind donations, and rely on the generosity of supporters like you to make Awaken Fest affordable for as many people as possible.

Ada 4-H member projects among 380 judged on July 17

ENTIRE LIST OF WINNERS IS ON AN ATTACHMENT AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS STORY

Approximately 380 4-H Projects were judged at the Community Building at the Hardin Co. Fairgrounds in Kenton on Wednesday, July 17.  Many Ada youth were among those who had projects judged.

Project judging is an annual event for youth who carry non-livestock projects. All 4-H members are required to participate in judging as a part of the steps they follow to complete their 4-H projects.

The Inn at ONU dining, pub and meeting area closed during construction

The Inn at Ohio Northern University’s dining, pub and meeting areas will be closed from July 22 through early fall.  For its guests’ convenience, The Inn is currently experiencing construction to these areas.  It will reopen in the fall. 

During this time, Director of Sales, Kim Cole-Fitzgerald will be available to plan all fall meeting and banquet needs.  You may reach her at 419.772.4112. 

The Inn at Ohio Northern University, located at 401 W. College Ave., is a full-service hotel in Ada.

Liberty Baptist VBS

Liberty Baptist Church Ada, held a "Diner Disaster" Vacation Bible School this week. The VBS included skits including this one.

 

 

Hardin United Way visits Ada

Dave Sturgeon of the United Way of Hardin County shares a laugh with members of the Ada Community Improvement Corp. (CIC) during the July 17 meeting. The county's kickoff drive is Aug. 7. According to Sturgeon 397 residents of Ada and Liberty Township were served by the UW last year. Phil Compton will visit with Ada businesses to seek support in the year's drive.
