It was "snacks under the tables" on Wednesday for students at the Ohio Northern University Child Development Center. The event was so popular that we suggest you try this at home.

 

A "drug take-back" event takes place from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 26, in the parking lot north of Rite Aid. Here is background on the event, provided by The Village Voice:

The things we think we, as consumers, can put down our drains and toilets aren’t always what the drains are made to handle. Some of the items are a matter of common sense. 

Would you ever think to put rags down the drain or toilet as a means of disposal? Probably not.

A funeral service for former Ada physician, Dr. Robert Love, will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 26, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Dr. Debow Freed and William Robinson officiating.

Following the service at the funeral home Military Honors will be conducted by the Ada VFW Post #9381 Honor Guard.  Burial will be in Fairview Belle Center Cemetery, Belle Center, Ohio.

Friends may call 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, April 25, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, with a Masonic Memorial Service at 5 p.m. on Friday with the Latham Lodge #154 of Kenton.

Ohio Northern University’s Freed Center for the Performing Arts will present three student-directed one-act plays in the new Mathile Lab Theatre from April 24 to 27 at 7:30 p.m., and with matinee shows scheduled for April 26 and 27 at 2 p.m.

Ohio Northern University student Kellie Evans, a fifth-year pharmacy major from Westlake, Ohio, has been chosen as a recipient of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Student Leadership Award. Evans is one of 12 students in the nation to be selected for the award.

The Student Leadership Award is presented to students in their second through fourth professional years, for a total of 12 recipients across the nation. The award recognizes and celebrates students who represent the very best attributes and accomplishments of ASHP student members, specifically those who are interested in health-system pharmacy that have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills.
