Liberty Township meeting minutes for 11-18-2024

The Liberty Towship board of trustees has provided the attached minutes from their November 18 meeting. Attendance: Jeff Acheson, Will Stoup, Jason Weihrauch and Patty Griffin.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Approved new cemetery rates effective January 1, 2025
- Fiscal Officer Patty Griffin reported that since the levy failed (in the November general election), they will try again in March for a replacement.

Middlefield Bank donation will help repair Kenton art education facility

Middlefield Bank recently donated $1,600 to the Wolf Creek Art Center in Kenton, Ohio. The contribution will help the center repair damage to its West Classroom.

ADA – The Ada High School girls basketball team played well early, but ran out of steam and fell to visiting Vanlue 45-34 in the home Blanchard Valley Conference opener Thursday night, December 5.

KENTON - Hardin County Student Leaders-United met on Wednesday, Dec 4 at Kenton High School. This is the third meeting for the 2024-25 school year. The group of 24 selected Sophomores meets monthly to develop their leadership skills and learn more about charitable organizations within Hardin County. 

Quest Federal Credit Union led the students in the “Game of Life.”  This program came is a collaboration of participants in the 2023 Hardin Leadership class and the United Way of Hardin County. Lunch was provided for the students by Moore than Just BBQ and Graphic Packaging.
