ONU track and field teams highly ranked
Men track and field move up in ranking
The Ohio Northern men's outdoor track and field team climbed five spots to No. 29 in the fourth weekly United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association power rankings.
The Polar Bears (57-15 overall) are coming off of a second place finish at the Polar Bear Invitational.
Rowan (N.J.) took the top spot, while Wis-LaCrosse came in second with 139.33 points and Wis.-Whitewater rounded out the top-3.
Women track and field now 14th
The Ohio Northern women's outdoor track and field team fell to No. 14 in the fourth weekly United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association power rankings, released Tuesday, Apr. 25.
The Polar Bears are 69-4 overall.
Washington (Mo.) held the top spot, while Williams (Mass.) came in second and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (Cal.) rounded out the top-3.
Northern is coming off of a first place finish at the annual Polar Bear Invitational.
