Brit Rowe, associate professor of art and design, has been selected to speak at the scholarship and learning conference at Tiffin University May 22-23.
The conference theme focuses on strategies that educators use to engage and understand their students inside and outside of the classroom.
Speakers will discuss active learning strategies, assessment, community engagement, project based learning, global environment and other topics.
Prof. Rowe has headed up a Grafik Intervention, which examines how graphic designers use their skills and knowledge to draw attention to the problem of urban decay by using various strategies for community-based graphic design.
