Auction on tap to help less fortunate
The College of Law will host its 23rd annual Public Interest Auction at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 31 in law building. The auction includes a range of goods and entertainment offerings.
Among items that have already been donated are golf outings, paintball tickets, gift certificates for area restaurants, gift packages, bowling and other entertainment packages, overnight hotel stays, Columbus Clippers and Cleveland Browns tickets and a Kindle Fire.
Proceeds help with expenses of students who are working in unpaid public interest legal positions over the summer. They help those who are in need, such as abused women and children, the physically and mentally impaired, the elderly and others oppressed and underprivileged.
