Glenda L. Conley 1945-2017
Glenda L. Conley, age 72, died on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 6:26 am at Lima Memorial Health System, Lima.
She was born on February 3, 1945 in Whitaker, Kentucky to Johnnie and Mary (Blair) Marshall. Her father Johnnie Marshall and Mother Mary VanHoose preceded her in death. On August 31, 1962 Glenda married Tribue Conley and he died on March 31, 1983.
Glenda was a dental assistant for Dr. Shambarger's office of Ada for 19 years, she retired in 2001. She attended the Free Will Baptist Church, McGuffey.
She is survived by her four brothers: Mitchell Marshall Sr. of Alger, Grover (Terry) VanHoose of Fostoria, Keith M. (Tammie) VanHoose of Harrod and Terry (Mindy) VanHoose of McGuffey; four sisters: Edith (Hubert) Summa of Foraker, Dorothy (Steve) Woten of Alger, Geraldine (Jerry) Henderson of Alger and Robin Sparks of Ashland City, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Thomas VanHoose.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00am on Monday, February 20, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger with Pastor David Trusty officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.
Friends may call from 2:00 to 6:00pm on Sunday, February 19, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger and until time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Community Health Professionals of Ada - Hospice.
