The pictured individual has been reported missing to the Allen County Sheriff's Office. She was reportedly seen in or around the Ada area. If you see someone matching the description please contact the Ada Police Department.

From the Allen County Sheriff's Office: Ayan A. Hersi was last seen on the afternoon of January 31, 2025 in Lima, Allen County, Ohio. She was wearing a long black winter coat, tan boots, and dark green sweatpants. Ayan is a 33 year old (DOB: 01-01-1992), black female with black hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 5’ 7” and 125 pounds.

Are you a Pickleball Fanatic? Ready to take your game to a whole new level? Want to flex your skills?

The United Way will host a Pickleball Tournament on April 19 at the Kenton YMCA with Men's, Women's and Mixed Double divisions.

Choose your partner or sign up as a single and be randomly assigned a teammate.

Cost is $20.00/person for the first event and $10.00 for the second event. Lunch and T-shirt will be provided!

From the Village of Ada at 9:45 a.m., February 18

Water will be temporarily shut off starting at 9:00 a.m. due to repairs affecting residents on Valerie, Franklin, and the 700 blocks of N. Simon and 700 blocks N. Johnson.

As soon as the repairs are completed water service will be turned back on. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Registration for Ada Diamonds T-ball, Softball and Baseball for spring/summer 2025 is currently underway .

Pony League season will start May 20 and run until June 26. Tournaments are planned to be July 7-15.

The Ada High School boys soccer team will play a regular-season match at Lower.com Field, home of the Columbus Crew, on September 21.

Ohio Northern University’s T.J. Smull College of Engineering is pleased to welcome to campus James F. “Jim” Dicke, III, president of Crown Equipment Corporation, as the featured speaker for the 2025 Spotts Lecture.

The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will be held Monday, February 24, 2025, at 7 p.m. in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts.

Dicke’s lecture is titled, “Every Innovation Matters: How Each Idea, Big or Small, Can Impact Corporate Success.”
