Terry Castle was retired from Golden Giant in Kenton
Terry D. Castle, 56, died on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016, at 6:32 p.m. at his residence in Ada.
He was born on March 17, 1960, in Kenton, Ohio, to Franzel and Virgie (Prater) Castle who preceded him in death.
On Jan. 21, 1982, he married Barbara E. Chalfin and she died on March 27, 2015. Terry retired after working 17 years as a welder at Golden Giant of Kenton. He then worked construction for 10 years. Terry enjoyed fishing, hunting and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Terry is survived by two sons: Michael (Karen) Dunson Jr. of Waynesfield and David C. Castle of Kenton; a daughter, Regina Fleece of Ada; seven grandchildren: Bailey (Ethan) Henning, Chase Dunson, Madison Fleece, Ashley Fleece, Ryan Tice, Eli Castle, and Colton Castle; two brothers: Frank Castle of Alger and Bill Stephens of Ada; eight sisters: Mary (Gary) Simon of Ada, Mabel Wright of Ada, Betty Warmbrod of Kenton, Sadie (Alonzo) Allen of Dola, Linda (Robert "Butch") LaRue of Ada, Charlene (Doug) Karfit of Ada, Thelma Smith of Belle Center and Lisa Castle of Florida; a sister-in-law, Vicki Castle of Alger.
He was preceded in death by three brothers: Russell, Albert and James Castle; a sister, Joyce Stanley; and two brothers-in-law: Terry Smith and Howard Stanley.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 27, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger with Pastor Don Holbrook officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 26, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to charity of the donor's choice.
