The American Electric Power (AEP) Foundation has made a gift of a $50,000 grant to Ohio Northern University in support of the University’s “Campaign for Engineering: Building Impact at ONU.” The campaign supports construction of a new 105,000-square-foot engineering building.
ONU recently announced that a total of $11.8 million has been raised during the quiet phase of the campaign toward a total fundraising goal of $15 million.
“We are appreciative of the AEP Foundation’s support of Ohio Northern’s campaign effort,” said Shannon Spencer, ONU vice president for advancement.
“This demonstrates AEP’s commitment to supporting the industry and students in a meaningful way, and this type of partnership is instrumental to providing a high-impact educational experience. This new engineering facility will offer the space and facilities that are needed to continue to prepare ONU students for leadership roles in engineering.”
