ONU men's soccer team ranked 9th nationally

The Ohio Northern men's soccer team moved up seven spots to No. 9 nationally in the second weekly d3soccer.com poll on Tuesday.
The Polar Bears (6-0-0 overall) received 638 points in the poll, 204 more points that last week, when they were ranked No. 16.
Northern has now been nationally-ranked for six consecutive years and 10 times in the last 11 seasons.
Amherst remained in the top spot in the rankings with 987 points and 14 first place votes, followed by Kenyon in second with 937 points and one first place vote and Rowan (N.J.) in third with 918 points and the remaining four first place votes.
The Polar Bears return to action Wednesday with a road game at No. 13-ranked Ohio Wesleyan.
