ONU Holiday Spectacular auditions held
By Monty Siekerman
About 40 youngsters auditioned on Sunday afternoon at the Freed Center for the ever-pupular ONU Holiday Spectacular.
Children 5 to 12 years old vied for about 20 children's parts.
When asked, "What is an audition," one tyke popped up and said, "You sing, you dance, and you smile." She hit the nail on the head.
The show will be presented at the Freed Center three times in November and at the Lima Civic Center three times in December.
A word to the wise: if you plan to see the Spectacular in Ada, buy your tickets early. All performances at the Freed Center sell out quickly each year.
