The Ada Public Library will offer a myriad amount of activities in the next few days, events of interest to people of all ages. In addition, the busy summer reading program continues. Upcoming at the library:
Saturday, June 18
• 11 a.m., Amanda Flower, author of Amish mysteries.
• 12:30 p.m., built a birdhouse with assistance of the Lima Lowe’s staff.
Monday, June 20
• 11 a.m., Remy and Friends, ventriloquist and illusionist.
• 3 p.m., teen art, grades 6-12.
• 6:30 p.m., teen writing group.
Tuesday, June 21
• 11 a.m., totally science Tuesday, grades K-5.
• 1 p.m., Amish book group.
• 3 p.m., teen science, grades 6-12.
• 6 p.m., family storytime. This 30-40 minutes usually features a variety of fun: a couple of stories, rhymes, finger-play, songs and occasionally simple crafts.
Wednesday, June 22
• 10 a.m., amazing animal adaptations with Toledo Zoo experts. Event held at Community Health Professionals, 1200 S. Main.
• 3 p.m., movie, “Cool Runnings,” (PG).
• 6 p.m., The Secret Life of the Millionaire Next Door. ONU business professor Jill Christopher will discuss ways to lead healthier lives.
Thursday, June 23
• 10 a.m., baby storytime, 0-14 months. Children will experience simple stories, rhymes, movement and music.
• 11 a.m., board games, grades K-5.
• 3 p.m., teen board games/booktalks, grades 6-12.
• 6 p.m., Beer College. Ever wonder what goes into making beer. ONU chemistry professor Ronald Peterson will break down the science of what goes into brewing beer.
Friday, June 24
• 1 p.m., sidewalk chalk.
• 3 p.m., teen yoga, grades 6-12.
