Friday in the summer means water day and pizza
By Monty Siekerman
More than 50 kids showed up for Water Day at Ada War Memorial Park on Friday.
Calvin Fisher carries out an armload of boxes that once held pizza and bread sticks.
ReStore sponsors a free meal for children from noon to 1 p.m. on Monday through Friday during the summer.
Fridays are the most popular. That's when pizza is served and Water Day activities are held, such as a water slide and water-filled balloons tossed about at friends or foes.
