The following impacts to traffic related to the reconstruction and widening of Interstate 75 through Findlay and Hancock County are scheduled to occur in the coming weeks:
 
Interstate 75 Findlay
 Interstate 75 both northbound and southbound from the area of the Blanchard River (mile marker 159) near Findlay High School to county Road 99 (mile marker 161) will be restricted to one lane at times through the work zone during nighttime hours only beginning Sunday, March 26.
 
• The restrictions are necessary to perform shoulder work and for placement of temporary pavement in preparation for future shifts in traffic patterns.

Michael Prescott, president of U.S. Bank’s Cincinnati market, will deliver the Lovett Distinguished Lecture at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28 in the business college. The title of his talk is “What I didn’t learn from textbooks.  The talk is free and open to the public.

 Prescott, who earned a bachelor’s degree with high distinction in accounting from Ohio Northern in 1984, is responsible for the bank’s activities and commercial-lending efforts in the Cincinnati region. He also has market responsibility for Florida; North Carolina; Nashville, Tenn.; Louisville, Ky.; and Saint Louis, Mo. He holds the MBA from Ohio State.

First time ONU reached top 5 since 2012-13

The Ohio Northern women's basketball team was ranked No. 5 in the final Women's Basketball Coaches Association poll, released March 20.

ONU reached the top five in the rankings for the first time since the 2012-13 season.

The Polar Bears posted a perfect 25-0 record in the regular season in 2016-17 to complete the first undefeated regular season in school history.

Northern reached the Elite 8 of the the NCAA Division III women's basketball tournament for the first time in school history.

ONU recorded a school-record 30 victories this season under the guidance of Ohio Athletic Conference Coach of the Year and 16th-season head coach Michele Durand.

Among OAC schools, ONU's athletic teams have had good success so far in 2016-2017 with many first and second place place finishes.
