‘The Second City Fully Loaded’ comes to The Freed Center stage Sept. 26

The Ohio Northern University Freed Center for the Performing Arts presents “The Second City Fully Loaded,” featuring a special third act with ONU’s improv group “Fearless Shenanygans,” on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 8:30 p.m. for the 2015 Homecoming performance.

Fresh, fast and always spectacularly funny​,​ The Second City brings you satire with all the bells and whistles. Featuring hilarious sketches made famous by Second City stars such as Tina Fey, Steve Carell and Stephen Colbert, this show also features new scenes straight from its sold-out shows in Chicago and Toronto.

The Fearless Shenanygans, comprised of ONU students, features Timothy Swaim, a senior musical theatre major from Oregon, Ohio; Patrick Plucinsky, a junior musical theatre major from Cleveland, Ohio; David James Grant, a senior musical theatre major from Medina, Ohio; Kelly Beazel, a second-year pharmacy major from Cambridge, Ohio; Josh Woods, a sophomore mechanical engineering major from North Canton, Ohio; Zack Goodchild, a sophomore risk management major from Pickerington, Ohio; Kaitlin Jempson, a sophomore musical theatre major from MacLeod, Australia; Riley Alexander, a sophomore musical theatre major from Ottawa, Ohio; and Haley Holtje, a junior musical theatre major from Friendswood, Texas.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors, $15 for ONU faculty and staff, and $10 for students and children.
