The Icon will begin to cover Ada council meetings this fall. The next meeting is at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 1.
Tuesday's agenda and minutes from the Aug. 18 meeting are in an attachment at the bottom of this story.
Among items on council's agenda includes review of Aug. 20 bid opening for solid waste contracts that begin Dec. 1.
Bids were received from Republic Services, Waste Management and Allen County Refuse. The village currently contracts with Waste Management.
Upcoming village meetings and events on the council calendar include:
• CIC meeting, noon, Sept. 16
• Ambulance board meeting, 6 p.m., Sept. 28
• Ada village trick-or-treat set for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Oct. 29
