Where were you Friday night? Most of Ada was on The Tundra

More than 80 people gathered on the Tundra Friday evening to watch "Frozen," the first Family Fun Night of the summer.

"Toy Story" will be shown free on July 3 at dusk (about 9:15 p.m.). The outdoor movie series is sponsored by the Freed Center for the Performing Arts and Bluffton Hospital.

ReStore sold popcorn, pop, and candy, making the movie-going experience authentic.
"Frozen" was shown on a hot summer day in Ada, but by nightfall the weather was pleasant. It was out with the blankets and lawn chairs to watch the 2013 Disney animated musical fantasy-comedy.

The movie was inspired by the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale "The Snow Queen." It's the highest grossing animated film of all time bringing in $1.3 billion worldwide at the box office.

But enough about what is past and on to the next movie, "Toy Story."

This is the first full length animated film, and it was a blockbuster produced by Pixar and distributed by Disney in 1995. There were sequels in 1999 and 2010.

Who could forget Woody and Buzz Lightyear?

See them again when "Toy Story" is shown on the Tundra next month on a 40-foot wide screen.
