Community Health Professionals fundraiser support its local hospice role

More than 100 people enjoyed a wonderful meal and extensive auction to benefit Community Health Professionals hospice program. The fundraiser was held Thursday evening in McIntosh Center ballroom.

More the 100 donated items were auctioned. Wayne and Travis Farthing of Findlay were auctioneers. Some items were valued as much as $500.

Deb Curlis, CHP fundraising coordinator for the organization and organizer of the evening festivities, gave the welcome. Music was provided by The Jubil-Heirs.

Ashley Cosgrove, RN, nursing supervisor of CHP Helping Hands and Claudia Crawford, RN, nursing supervisor, spoke.

A lighthouse presentation was given to the family of Earl Farler.

This is the 40th year CHP has provided home health and hospice service in northwest and west central Ohio.

This year also marks the 18th year for the Ada office serving residents in Hardin County and nearby.

Ten years ago CPH completed its current building on SR 235 south. The building houses the health and hospice services, and its therapy provider, FABrehab, Inc.

The community room also hosts many family and community events throughout the year.
CHP is a nonprofit agency that offers a complete range of health, hospice, private duty, and in-home services to all ages.
