Ada students have an open lunch opportunity on Thursday. Here's how it works:
Open lunch for students in grades 9-12 will begin at 11:40 a.m. and end at 1:30 p.m. All students must exit the building through the doors at Door 17 (end of high school hallway).
Students will be required to sign out at this location. Dismissal will be staggered in an effort to make the sign-out process more efficient (Juniors/ Seniors called at 11:30 a.m., Sophomores 11:35 a.m. Freshman 11:40 a.m..
Signed parental permission forms were turned in Dec. 5 to participate in open lunch. When students return, they will enter Door 12 and sign back in. They are to report to the cafeteria to wait for the 1:30 p.m. bell.
Grades 7 and 8 will eat lunch at 11:40 a.m. – 12:10 p.m. in the cafeteria.
They will watch a movie from 12:15 -1:30 p.m. in their 5B class.
Grades 9-12 students who will not be leaving for open lunch will eat from 11:40- 12:10 p.m. in the cafeteria and will also watch a movie from 12:15 – 1:30 p.m. in room 224 (Mrs. Veltri’s room).
LANGUAGE CLUB: Those students who signed up for the food committee or the activity committee for Language Club need to meet in the French room Thursday during lunch. Please eat first and report at 1 p.m. to Mrs. Davis’s room.
BOOK CLUB: Will meet Friday at 8 a.m. to discuss the book “Let it Snow” and have a white elephant gift exchange. Don’t forget your wrapped gift if you want to be included in the exchange. See Mrs. Smith if you have any questions.
