Several opportunities to join children’s choirs and small music classes for youngsters are available in October, according to Vicki Mills of Miss Vicki’s Music Studio, 2613 State Route 81, Ada.
“Our choirs serve who desire an exciting choral opportunity. Singers will learn healthy vocal technique, learn to sight-read, enjoy working with like-minded singers of various ages and experience, and develop performing skills through local and studio concerts performing a variety of music,” said Mills.
The following class options are available:
• Music Makers – At Home in the World
4- and 5-year olds
Fridays, 3:30-4:25 p.m.
• October/November Mini-Mester
Four sessions: Saturdays, Oct. 18, 24, Nov. 1, 15
• All Together Now!
Babies to 4 year olds
• Music Makers
Ages 4 ½ to 6
• Introduction to keyboard
Ages 6-8
• Keyboard for adults
Ages 18 and over
Choirs
• Cantare Singers (new this fall, by audition)
Mondays 4:45 to 5:45 p.m.
2nd through 7th grade
• Jubi-Heirs (second year for this home school choir, by audition)
Thursdays 2-4 p.m.
Ages 11 to 18+
