Here's some announcements from the Ada school website of interest to the Ada community:
2013-2014 Year books have arrived. They can be picked up in the high school office.
October 8 – Cap & Gown presentation at 8:40 a.m. Auditorium
October 20 – Professional Development Teacher Work Day- No school for students
October 23 – Composite pictures at 7 a.m. and 7 through 12 Pictures starting at 8:45 a.m.
Picture forms will be passed out in class.
6 – 12 MUSIC STUDENTS: The fall music fundraiser has begun. 6-12th grade music students: all order forms are due to Mrs. Glenn or M. Lischak by Monday, Oct. 13.
REMINDER: Next week is the Cheer for A Cure Clinic. If you signed up, remember the second clinic date is Wednesday, Oct. 8, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. “Pink Out” game is Friday Oct. 10.
BOOK CLUB: Students who have been waiting for this month’s book for Book Club may come get one in the library from Mrs. Smith. The club will meet Friday, Oct. 10, at 8 a.m. in the library for breakfast.
STUDENT COUNCIL: Will be meeting Tuesday, Oct. 7, during lunch to finalize homecoming plans and make signs for the dance. Please plan to pack your lunch and meet in the Media Center. Bring poster-making supplies.
DRIVE TIME: Drive Time driving instruction LLC has offered quality driver’s training that is both comfortable and convenient for more than four year in the Bluffton and Findlay areas. Drive Time classes are held in Bluffton. Please stop in the high school office for more information.
YEARBOOK: It’s not too late to buy a 2013-2014 Yearbook. See Ms. Yoakam with $60 checks made out to Ada Yearbook. First come, first serve.
ATTENTION ALL FRENCH AND SPANISH STUDENTS: The first Language Club meeting isTuesday, Oct. 14 at 3:30 p.m. in the French room. We will be electing officers and making plans for our celebration of the Day of the Dead. See Mrs. Davis if you have any questions.
