Public hearing will consider rezoning for proposed nursing home facility
A public hearing is set for 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 5, in the Ada council chambers to hear a zoning change request for a proposed nursing home in Ada.
The request is to rezone property to Commercial I.
The property is located on the north side of State Route 81 across from the Ada Schools.
Some of the information about the proposed nursing home was shared at the June Ada CIC meeting.
At that meeting it was announced that the proposal is to construct an 80-bed facility with 32 assisted living rooms on an 18.5-acre site. The facility would include 55,000 square-feet of space on one floor.
Other information shared at the meeting was that the facility could employ up to 75 to 85 persons.
