Anyone who says nothing happens in Ada during the summer has failed to study the attached Ada Community Highlights calendar. It is created by The Ada Icon for distribution of the Ada Community Improvement Corp. (CIC)

Community Events
• Farmersʼ Market – Community Health Professionals  4-7 pm each Thursday in June and July
• Music Boosters – Lions Club Bingo  Each Thursday – Alumni N-menʼs Building, doors open 5:30 pm; Bingo begins at 6:55 p.m.
• Ada Food Pantry (located in basement of First Presbyterian Church of Ada)
Tuesdays 4 pm - 6 pm
Saturdays 10 am - 12 noon
• Free community meals
   o Crock Pot Tuesdays, ReStore, 4-6 pm
   o Last Wednesday of the month, St. Markʼs Lutheran Church, 5:30-7 pm
• Ada Pool Opening day May 26–Season pool passes are on sale at the water office. Ada residents/taxpayers can get passes for $30 per person through June 2. After June 2, the cost is $40 per person. Non-residents/non-taxpayers can get passes for $60 per person through June 2. After June 2, the cost is $80 per person. A resident/taxpayer is anyone who works or lives within the Village limits and is required to file and pay Village income tax.

• June 13 Buy Ada First committee announces Music on Main Cruise In 6-8pm at Depot Park. Music by WONB 94.9FM. Presale chicken bbq dinner at Hays Insurance sponsored by Ada Rotary Club.
• July 11 Buy Ada First committee announces Music on Main with band Kwik Fire sponsored by Liberty National Bank.

Kick-off Saturday, May 31st, 10am-2pm The Library will be hosting 4-H animals, face painting,  a Used Book Sale, and "Touch-a-Truck" (where kids can get up close with a tractor, ambulance, police car, and fire truck). Sign-up for Summer Reading begins that day too! Summer Reading is for EVERYONE of all ages, and runs June 2 - July 11.

June 27 - Mystery Dinner Theatre - 7:00 PM.  Don't miss this fun evening! Last year's event was a sell-out.  You'll laugh at loud as you help solve the evening's crime!  The dinner, non-alcoholic beverage and theatre ticket are all included.  $29.00 per person (plus tax/gratuity).
