Ohio Northern University’s Department of English closes Spring Reading Series with poet Roger Reeves
The Ohio Northern University Department of English closes its 2014 Spring Reading Series with poet Roger Reeves in the Elzay Gallery of Art on Wednesday, April 2, at 7 p.m.
Reeves’ poems have appeared, or are scheduled to appear, in journals such as “Poetry,” “Ploughshares,” “American Poetry Review,” “Boston Review” and “Tin House.” He has been awarded a 2013 NEA Fellowship, a Ruth Lilly Fellowship by the Poetry Foundation in 2008, two Bread Loaf Scholarships, and two Cave Canem Fellowships. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Texas and is currently an assistant professor of poetry at the University of Illinois, Chicago. His first book, “King Me,” is just out from Copper Canyon Press.
