FABrehab Services, Ada's new outpatient therapy clinic, has April 30 open house

FABrehab Services has opened a new outpatient therapy clinic serving Ada and Hardin County residents at the Community Health Professionals building, 1200 S. Main St. in Ada.

The public is invited to an open house and grand opening at the clinic on Wednesday,  April 30, from 4 – 6 p.m.

FABrehab and Community Health Professionals (CHP) are also teaming up to provide a full range of in-home therapy services, including physical, occupational and speech therapy.

Based in Tiffin, FABrehab Services, LLC, was created in 2004 as a division of Fabrizio Chiropractic & Physical Rehabilitation Clinic.

The relationship between FAB and CHP began in 2008, when FAB opened an outpatient clinic at CHP’s Wapakoneta office. FAB now provides in-home therapy services through six CHP offices in west central Ohio.

“We are looking forward to serving Ada and Hardin Counties,” said Dr. Nick Fabrizio. “We consider all who enter our door to be family and we strive to improve their quality of health. Our mission is that everybody ‘Experience Lifetime Wellness.’”

Therapy provided at home can speed recovery from illness, injury or surgery. It also allows clients to develop independence with daily activities.

“We are pleased to welcome FABrehab to our community and we look forward to working with their staff to deliver our patients high quality therapy services at home,” said Claudia Crawford, RN, nursing supervisor for Community Health Professionals – Ada.

Physical Therapy can help patients of all ages, from young children to aging adults. Each patient is assisted to reach their own goals – which may be to rehab a sports injury, recover from a surgery, return to work, play with their grandchildren or recover from a fall.

FAB offers a variety of modalities and hands-on care to help patients, provided by licensed physical therapists (PT) or licensed physical therapy assistants (LPTA).
Occupational Therapy can help adults and children accomplish their daily activities. It focuses on upper extremity disorders, carpel tunnel, tendonitis, and fractures of the elbow, wrist, hand and digits.

Occupational Therapy also specializes in custom splinting to assist with many fractures, nerve compressions and positioning needs. FAB’s Occupational Therapist has specialized training in job site analysis and worksite modifications as well as in home modifications to assist with daily activities.

Speech Therapy can assist the elderly with problem solving, attention, sequencing, orientation, articulation, fluency, and oral motor weakness. Pediatric speech services can assist children who have articulation disorders, language delays, autism, Down Syndrome, developmental disorders, apraxia of speech, and hearing impairment.

The FABrehab Services Ada outpatient clinic is open Mondays to Fridays 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., providing services by appointment. It is staffed by Teresa Stachler, PT, Tony Thorpe, LPTA, Staci James, LPTA and Deb Barhorst, office manager. The phone number is 567-221-1021.

“Whether in the outpatient clinic or in the home, we strive for excellence through superior patient treatment, education, and satisfaction,” said Fabrizio.
