ONU ‘Together We ROAR’ Homecoming celebrated October 27-28

Featuring the theme, “Together We ROAR,” this year’s Ohio Northern University Homecoming Weekend, planned for Friday and Saturday, Oct. 27 and 28, will feature several campus events and a parade through downtown Ada.

The Ada High School volleyball team handily defeated visiting Delphos Jefferson in three sets to seize a Northwest Conference victory Thursday evening, September 28.

The Bulldogs improved to 10-8 overall and 2-4 in the NWC with the convincing 25-11, 25-21, 25-19 victory. The win also snapped their four-match losing skid.

Mac Davis was a successful songwriter, singer and actor. He got his start in the music industry as a songwriter and employee for Nancy Sinatra and her company Boots Enterprises. He was a prolific songwriter for numerous artists.  In 1968, he wrote A Little Less Conversation for Elvis Presley.  

Inn at ONU celebrates 15-year anniversary

The Inn at ONU is celebrating its 15th anniversary with an event including food, games, music, tours and giveaways. There will also be a special appearance by Klondike.

Bulldog boys soccer: Late goal ties Hornets

The Ada High School boys soccer team battled visiting Cory-Rawson to a dramatic 1-1 draw on Wednesday, September 27, at War Memorial Stadium in a North Central Ohio Soccer Association match played during a light rain.

The Bulldog records are 2-5-5 overall and 0-0-4 in NCOSA play following their fourth consecutive league tie.
