Obituary for Telitha Ann Rayl

Telitha Ann Rayl, age 83, of Ada, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at her residence, surrounded by her family. 

She was born on May 29, 1940 in Lima, Ohio to the late Joseph and Anna (Mayer) Leiser.  On June 13, 1975 Telitha married Daniel J. Rayl who preceded her in death on May 4, 2006.

In this bitter cold, Icon founder Fred Steiner is attracting nuthatches and other birds with his homemade suet, a combination of Crisco, Jif Crunchy peanut butter, peanuts, wild bird seed, cornmeal, oatmeal, wheat flour and whatever seeds he has on hand. Fred notes, "If you could handle Crisco and Jif (not me) anyone could eat this."

On Saturday, April 13, 2024, the Ada Athletic Boosters will be holding their Annual Reverse Raffle at Liberty Oaks. Our organization provides support to all athletes at Ada Schools. This past year we have supported: 

Photography exhibit "Life & The Art of Living" and artists lecture at Elzay Gallery

Ohio Northern University Art & Design will host an artist lecture by Robbie and Robert Bailey, a "dynamic, photography creative team that specialize in both studio and environmental portraiture." Their photographs have been published in the New York Times as well as featured on The Today Show, The Discovery Channel, and NBC’s Nightly News. The Bailey’s fine art portraits have been exhibited worldwide and their State Fair Poultry Portraits are part of the permanent collection at North Carolina State University.

The talk beings at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, January 22, 2024 at the Elzay Gallery of Art on Ohio Northern’s campus. The Bailey’s photography show, Life & The Art of Living, is currently on exhibit.

County Line Church weather closing on January 16
