Moderna issues early information about its potential coronavirus vaccine

With the coronavirus pandemic raging on, several pharmaceutical companies are in the race to produce a vaccine, including the company Moderna.

And early information suggests that the Massachusetts biotechnology company is on track to get a COVID-19 vaccine to market.

Over the last several months, the company said it has taken steps to get its vaccine, mRNA-1273, studied.

On Feb. 24, 2020, the company's clinical batch of vaccines was shipped to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for a phase I clinical study. And the first results from the study are in.

Ada Public Library offers all the reading you can eat

In case you missed this, there's curbside service this summer at the Ada Public Library. Here's how it works:

 The services are following local, state and federal directives and guidelines. 

Requesting items:
Patrons may place requests using the library’s online catalog at: ohio.ent.sirsi.net/client/ada
or by call the library at 419-634-5246 with a book title or topic request.

Picking up items:
Park outside the library and call 419-634-5246 to let the staff know you are in the parking lot. Please stay inside your vehicle and a staff member will place items in trucks or unoccupied back seats.

The following students from Hardin County and the surrounding area were named to the Dean’s List for spring semester 2019-20 at Ohio Northern University. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must attain a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and be enrolled full-time.
