Junior Lauren Rife, junior Kelsi Wurm and sophomore Kristin Cellentani have been named Academic All-OAC in women's tennis in voting done by the league's 10 faculty advisors.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must be sophomore standing, maintain varsity status and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50.

Rife, a biology/pre-med major, earns her second Academic All-OAC honor.

This season, she posted a 26-10 record and picked up her 100th career win on Apr. 27 against Muskingum.

Wurm went 13-2 in singles play on the season and was 4-3 in doubles, for an overall record of 17-5.

This is the second consecutive season the pharmacy major has earned this honor.

Cellentani earns his first Academic All-OAC accolade.

Cellentani, an accounting major, was 12-10 in singles and 15-9 in doubles for a 27-19 record, before suffering an injury.

Ohio Northern won a school record 27 matches and won its third straight OAC regular season championship and second straight OAC tournament title.
