Women in business theme of entrepreneur workshop

Community Economic Development Center at Ohio Northern University to present entrepreneur workshop on women in business

The Community Economic Development Center (CEDC) at Ohio Northern University continues its entrepreneurship workshop series in the Dicke Forum on Tuesday, April 23. The workshop will be preceded by a networking event at 5:30 p.m. The workshop will follow the networking event and conclude at 7 p.m.

The topic of the workshop will be “Women in Business” with Susan Schertzer, assistant professor of marketing in ONU’s Dicke College of Business Administration. During this workshop, Schertzer will share her successes, mistakes and lucky breaks as a woman in the business world. This event is free and open to the public.

In her professional experience, Schertzer has worked for companies such as Macy’s, The Kroger Co., Fifth Third Bank, and Strategic Insights-Business and Marketing Consultancy. Her research interests include business-to-business relationships, services marketing, customer retention, corporate branding/image and marketing strategy.

Schertzer received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration from Xavier University and her Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati.
