Lots of news is coming out of the Ada schools this month. Here's a summary of items from the school website from Friday.
ADA SCHOOLS NEEDS YOUR HELP! We need you to get out in your communities and ask your local farmers to nominate Ada for the opportunity to complete for a $10,000 grant through Monsanto Fund’s America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education.
With help from you and your families, the school could win grant money to buy classroom IPADS and TI-Nspire Calculators. Now until April 15, farmers can nominate their favorite, local public school district. Grants will be awarded based on merit, need and community support.

2 NEW BOXTOP/CAMPBELL’S SOUP CONTEST: Grades 9-12- Do you want a chance to win 2 tickets to Cedar Point and a $100.00 gas card?! Start bringing in your Boxtops & Campbell soup labels- for every 10 turned into your English teachers, you earn a chance to win! Grades 6-8- Would you like a chance to win an iPod shuffle & an iTunes gift card?! Bring in your 10 boxtops or soup labels to your English teachers for a chance to win. Both contests end Friday, April 12th.
CHEERLEADING TRYOUTS: Anyone interested in being a High School or Middle School Cheerleader for the 2013-2014 school year should pick up a tryout packet in the office by April 19th. Tryouts will be held on May 10th.
REMINDER FOR JUNIORS & SENIORS: Guest request & After Prom forms are available in the high school office. Students are allowed to bring a guest from outside of our school or alumni to high school activities providing that arrangements are made in advance.
Pick up a guest request form in the office if you want to bring a guest from outside to the school Prom or After Prom. Fill out the information & return the completed form to the office by 3:30 Friday, April 26th.
