Do Thai named OAC men's tennis player of the week

Junior Do Thai has been named OAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the week of March 11.
Thai posted a 7-1 record last week as the Polar Bears (3-4) went 3-1 on their spring trip in Orlando, Fla.
On Tuesday against Wartburg (Iowa), Thai won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 3 singles and 9-7 at No. 2 doubles.
Against Wabash (Ind.) on Wednesday, Thai teamed with junior Josh Saunders to win the clinching match at No. 2 doubles by a 9-7 score. He also won 2-6, 6-0, 6-3 at No. 3 singles.
Thai was victorious by a 6-4, 2-6, 6-2 win against Coe (Iowa) on Thursday at No. 3 singles and won 6-0, 6-3 at No. 2 singles and 8-2 at No. 1 doubles against Staten Island (N.Y.) on Friday.
Thai has five singles wins on the season, which is tied for third on the team.
Ohio Northern will return to action when it hosts rival Wittenberg on Saturday at 10 a.m.
