A supernatural love story set in the South, "Beautiful Creatures" tells the tale of two star-crossed lovers: Ethan (Alden Ehrenreich), a young man longing to escape his small town, and Lena (Alice Englert), a mysterious new girl. The secret’s out. The Buy Ada First Committee, planning the community’s second cash mob, this week announced the location of the event.
The cash mob takes place at one of Ada’s prominent retail businesses, Health-Chek, 117 S. Main St., from 3 to 5 p.m., Tuesday, March 12.
“Alisa Armbrecht welcomed our invitation to host this event,” said Heather Cox, member of the committee. “We hope to continue more cash mobs in Ada during 2013.”
Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) is offering educational scholarships to individuals pursuing health care careers. High school seniors entering college, current college students and BVHS associates are eligible to apply.

The Ohio Northern softball team is ranked No. 18 in the first 2013 National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III poll released on Wednesday.
The Polar Bears received 8392 points in the poll, nine less than the 92 they received in the preseason poll, when they were ranked No. 15.
ONU has now been nationally ranked in five consecutive seasons and finished the year ranked No. 11 in 2012.
Montclair State (N.J.) is No. 1 with five first place votes and 197 points overall, Luther (Iowa) is second with 188 points and Tufts (Conn.) is third with 180 points.
