ONU adds women's lacrosse as varsity sport; names coach

Former Wittenberg head coach Beth Hemminger has been named the first-ever head coach of the Ohio Northern women's lacrosse program.

Hemminger will take over the reigns of Ohio Northern's new program, which will begin varsity play in the spring of 2016.

Fresh vegetable workshop in Ada May 13; registration due May 9

Kathy Oliver, OSU Extension Educator, will teach a workshop titled Fresh Vegetables Preparation and Sampling at 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 13, at the Community Health Professionals, Ada, 1200 S. Main St.

Registration is due by Friday, May 9, at the Hardin County Extension Office. Call 419-674-2297 or e-mail [email protected]. There will be a $2.00 sampling fee at the door for those who are registered prior to the event.
