Grass is flying everywhere lately, as people take to their lawns to spruce things up. Keeping grass mowed is important in the Village, as it keeps our neighborhoods looking neat and tidy, and it helps reduce the insect population. Grass, weeds or rank vegetation that is over 6 inches in height is a violation of Codified Ordinance 521.08 (e), which is one more reason why keeping grass trimmed is a good idea.

A movie crew will visit the Ada area in June to film a Civil War battle scene.
In hopes of distributing the film nationwide, the director turned to Ohio Northern University graduate, Jordan Kimes (BFA/studio arts ’15) to assist in production.
Kimes, the production manager for the film, “A Spy Not Like Us,” is hoping to begin her film career. She began working on the movie in December, right around graduation.
While a student at Ohio Northern, Jordan double-majored in studio arts (with a concentration in 2D) and theatre design & international production.
