Ada High School track standout Carlee Marshall was named female athlete of the year at the Northwest Conference track meet hosted in Ada.

Columbus Grove won both boys’ and girls’ titles.

A list of preliminary and final places are in the attachment at the bottom of this story.

Marshall was second in the 100 meter and 200 meter. She was first in the high jump and long jump. Ada girls’ finished fifth and the boy’s finished eighth.

Earlier this week, Sgt. Matt Purdy and K9 Jaeger demonstrated drug detection to the Ada junior high students.

The officers of the Ada Police Department have been and continue to be in the schools teaching our SAFER Program including anti-bullying, drugs, safety belt, internet safety to students during the month of May.
