CEDC at ONU to present free entrepreneur workshop on small business taxes

The Community Economic Development Center (CEDC) at Ohio Northern University continues its entrepreneurship workshop series in the Dicke Forum on Tuesday, Jan. 29. The workshop will be preceded by a networking event at 5:30 p.m. The workshop will follow the networking event and conclude at 7 p.m.

The topic of the workshop will be “Taxes and Your Business” with Mary E. Fox, an attorney with Fox Ruhlen Co. LPA in Upper Sandusky, Ohio. This event is free and open to the public.

Fox has practiced law for 30 years. Although her practice encompasses all areas of family law and probate matters, she also provides services for the formation of businesses, tax planning and tax preparation.

She is a director of Community First Bank N.A. and the Upper Sandusky Area Chamber of Commerce, is a member of the Ohio State and Wyandot County Bar Associations, and is currently an instructor at ONU.

Fox earned her dual Bachelor of Arts in political science and accounting from ONU and her juris doctor from ONU’s Pettit College of Law.
