Men's Basketball picked to finish seventh in OAC Preseason Poll

-The Ohio Northern men's basketball team was chosen to finish seventh out of 10 teams in the OAC Preseason Men's Basketball Poll in voting conducted by the league's 10 head coaches.

Capital was tabbed to finish first with 74 points, bringing in six first place votes.

Baldwin Wallace and Marietta each received 67 points, but the Yellow Jackets received three first place votes compared to one for the Pioneers.

The Polar Bears received 35 votes.

ONU welcomes in new head coach Kevin Byrne, who will begin his first season at the helm.

Northern went 14-14 last season and had a 8-10 mark in OAC play.

The team also advanced to the OAC Tournament Semifinals before falling to eventual champion Capital.

Ohio Northern will tip off their season on November 17 against Hood (Md.) at 5 pm in the W & J Tournament.
