A network of physicians at Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) have recently joined together to establish the Heartburn & Reflux Center of Northwest Ohio. The center will provide comprehensive care to help patients eliminate heartburn and other symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and related disorders.
The center is led by Jessica Reynolds, MD, a general surgeon with Surgical Associates of Northwest Ohio. A “reflux care navigator” will also be available to patients, to assist with ordering and scheduling of tests, appointments and patient follow-ups.

ADA - The host Ada girls soccer team broke up a scoreless tie late and held off a last-minute Delphos Jefferson attempt to edge the Wildcats 1-0 in a defensive Northwest Conference match Wednesday evening.
The win stopped a six-match winless streak, upping the Lady Bulldog record to 3-9-1 overall and 2-3-1 in NWC play. DJ fell to 0-12 and 0-4 in league action with the loss.
The teams played to a scoreless tie in the first half and throughout most of the second half.

FROM THE ONU WEBSITE - On the evening of Sept. 11, 2019, Dial-Roberson Stadium was a sight to behold. Dozens of people made their way up and down the stadium steps over and over.
They marched for the victims, they marched for the first responders, they marched for those who answered the call to defend their homeland and our freedom.
The 9/11 Stair Climb, as it has come to be known, began as an ROTC effort, started by recent graduate Bryce Bouman, BS ’19, but this year marked the first time that it took place on ONU’s campus as an organized public event, hosted by the newly re-established Ohio Northern Veterans Organization (ONVO).
