Order a meal at El Campo and you will help the United Way of Hardin County.
Enrique Cabrera, manager of El Campo Mexican Restaurant, Ada, is ready to welcome patrons for the first “All Out “for this year’s campaign for United Way of Hardin County on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
The restaurant, open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., will donate a percentage of it sales that day to United Way.
"United Way of Hardin County is very appreciative of the support of restaurants who sponsor these events to kickoff the annual campaign," said Phyllis Griffith of the United Way.
She added that monies go to 21 local agencies who offer support throughout the county.

KENTON - The Ada boys cross country team finished fifth at the five-team Hardin County Invitational meet hosted by Kenton Monday evening.
Hardin Northern won the team title with 45 points, barely edging Upper Scioto Valley (46) by a point. Kenton was third (53), Riverdale fourth (84) and Ada fifth (113).
Bulldog senior Hunter Wells ended up 14th in the 30-runner field to register the top Ada showing. He covered the 3.1-mile course in 20:50.5.
Ada's Seth Swaney finished 22nd and sophhomore teammate Riley Ferguson was 24th, followed closely by Connor Daugherty in 25th. Keegan Giddens was the fifth Bulldog runner in 29th

Although many of them may know each other, the residents of Ada and Hardin County are all unique individuals with unique needs.
Deb Curlis is working to meet those needs as well as creating an attractive retail environment and interesting programs. It’s a tall order!
“If there’s a need, we’ll help or find another agency that can,” said Curlis, who recently accepted the position of store manager at Beatitudes (formerly the ReStore Community Center) in Ada. Her job responsibilities include expanding retail sales, fundraising and developing a calendar of events.
St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 4443 Township Road 25, Ada, installed John Nagel as its full-time pastor on Oct. 5.
He and his wife, Victoria, recently moved to Ada from Marion, and have become active members of the Ada community.
The installation service included prayer, commitment, and a special song "Scars," sung by Pastor Nagel. This song had special meaning to him and the congregation since he had been in a head-on collision in 2016 and was very seriously injured and still has many scars.
