Men’s Cross Country posts second place finish at All-Ohio Championships

he Ohio Northern Men's cross country team finished second out of 22 teams at the All-Ohio Collegiate Championship on Saturday at Cedarville.

The Polar Bears finished second in the event with a total of 96 points. No. 35 Case Western won the meet with 55 points. John Carroll, Ohio Wesleyan and Oberlin finished third, fourth and fifth respectively.

Northern had the three of the top twenty finishers on the day.

Sophomore Nathan Rosenbaum navigated the 8k course in a time of 25:48.74 and finished seventh.

Junior Mark Berton finished 18th at a time of 26:23.02 and Senior Michael Simmons notched a 20th place finish with a time of 26:25.82.

Juniors Tyler Feitshans and Evan McKeefinish 24th and 27th respectively.

Ohio Northern will be in action again on Saturday, October 13th when they travel to Wisconsin for the Wisconsin-Oshkosh Invitational at 8:30am.
