You can still see the caboose through the trees. But when those buds burst, you'll know spring is in Ada...and you won't see the caboose from this angle.
The Ada Music Boosters have launched a new fundraiser to support the various Ada music programs from the 5th grade through the 12th grade.
According to the Boosters, "The money raised will support projects like Varsity Singers, Marching Band, Winterguard, Senior Flag Line, Junior High winterguard, Junior High choir and band, Senior High choir and concert band as well as the school musical."
The fundraiser is a GMACK Laundry Detergent program. The detergent and fabric softeners are liquid and in clear 5-gallon buckets with easy pump dispensers. Each 5-gallon bucket costs $45 and the money is due when the items are ordered.
There's lots going on in Ada schools in April. The high school astronomy class will take a trip to the Bowling Green State University planetarium, the eighth grade will hold a craft show fundraiser and next week is Right to Read Week. During the week there will be a scholastic book fair in the school.
That's just for starters. There's more...
• a children's theater
• Varsity Singers tryouts
• Arbor Day celebration
• High school prom
