Ohio Northern rallied for three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to edge area-rival Bluffton 6-5 in a non-conference baseball game Monday afternoon at Wander Field.

The Polar Bears improve to 11-12 overall, while the Beavers fall to 13-12.

Senior Cory Martin drilled a 2-out, 2-run double in the bottom of the eighth inning to score senior Kevin Obarski and freshman Jack LaMarca with the tying and go-ahead runs.

Northern trailed 5-3 entering the frame and senior Dan Belliveau started a 2-out rally with a single through the right side of the infield.

It doesn't appear that much has changed in 100 years at the Ada railroad depot. It also appears that the second floor of the depot is in use. The sender of the post card notes: "This is where we got off when the train stopped."

The post card was published by the August Variety Store, Ada, Ohio. (From the collection of Leland Crouse.)
