Ada Church of Christ, 316 S. Main St., will present "Christmas: Birth of a New Hope," from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 15, at the church. The presentation is written by Jacob Reel.

The performance will be narrated by Reel and singers will be "Jericho Road," "One Voice," Ken Zeigler, Marlene Vance and Rachel Scott. 

The performance is open to the public.

Ada Bingo is played each Thursday in December at the Alumni N-men' Building, downtown Ada. December Bingo dates are Dec. 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Bingo begins at 6:55 p.m. Ada Bingo uses new, radio-controlled electronic machines as well as traditional paper packages.

Proceeds benefit Ada Lions Club, Ada Music Boosters, and the Ada-Liberty Volunteer Fire Department.

Community Health Professionals invite Icon viewers to contribute to its hat and glove tree, located in its lobby, 1200 S. Main St., Ada. The hats and gloves will be given to ReStore for local distribution.

Reservations are now being accepted for any of The Inn at ONU's six December holiday luncheons. 

Dining hours are 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Persons may choose a date, select an entree for each guest (groups of 2 to 8) and make a reservation by calling 419-772-2500.

Each entrée is $11.95 per person and includes entrée, non-alcoholic beverage, and holiday dessert. (Tax and gratuity are additional.)

A generous portion of slow cooked, seasoned beef with gravy served over Texas bread and our mashed red-potatoes. Served with a seasonal vegetable.

The holiday season is normally a time of joy, but when someone you love has died, it can be a time of loneliness and pain. 

Hanson-Neely Funeral Home will host its 10th annual Remembrance Service at the Ada funeral home Saturday, Dec. 14, at 2 p.m.

An ornament, personalized with the name of the loved one, will be given to put on the Remembrance Service Christmas tree.
