Many Ada High School students will participate in the exerience of donating blood during the school day, Wednesday, April 23. The American Red Cross will be at the school from 8 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.
Several bits of information have gone home to parents, providing information about donating blood.
A copy of the "Parent Consent for Blood Donation" form and an information sheet about donating blood are attachments to the story.
There is light at the end of the Lima Avenue tunnel. The project will eventually be completed. Here's a look through the many pipes awaiting their turn to be placed under the street and to allow water to flow once the project is completed.

The Alger Memorial Festival Committee is sponsoring a Country-Style breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the Alger Social Center, Main St., Alger. Biscuits, sausage gravy, hash-browns, scrambled eggs, fried apples, sausage patties and beverage will be served.
